OG = Original. The first 5,000 people to actively post, trade, and build on Sided during the first 6 months after launch. The badge is forever — visible on your profile from the moment you earn it. The reward is earned by helping make the platform work over the first 6 months.

Open your launch email, sign up fast
The gates open. Click your launch email and create your account — that puts you in the OG race. Then you start using the platform: post, trade, engage. The 5,000 OG slots are earned over the next 6 months by the people who actually show up, not by the people who click fastest.

OG badge appears on your profile
Visible to everyone who follows you, comments on your stakes, or trades against you. Permanent. Status that can never be repeated.
How to keep the reward
Three conditions over six months. None of them are surprises.
Stay active
Place predictions, post takes, vote, engage. Specific thresholds will be published before the 6-month mark.
Stay in good standing
No moderation strikes, no abuse. Automated moderation enforces the rules — fair to everyone who shows up to play.
One account, real you
Multiple accounts disqualifies all of them. The OG cohort is a real community of real people, not a botnet.
OGs who go silent over the 6 months forfeit the reward. Badge stays. Reward doesn't. The point: align the OG cohort with the platform's actual growth, not with passive farming.

- Can I bot my way to OG?
- No. Multiple accounts get all of them disqualified — the badge revoked, the reward forfeit. The OG cohort is one real person per slot.
- What exactly counts as "activity"?
- Specific thresholds will be published before the 6-month mark — we want to set them based on real platform usage patterns, not abstract ideas. Goal: prevent inactivity farming, not police every action. Use Sided meaningfully and you'll qualify.
- When exactly is the reward distributed?
- 6 months from launch day. We'll email all qualifying OGs in advance to confirm the distribution mechanism.
- What if I'm not in the first 5,000?
- You're still very welcome on Sided — full access, all features, normal account. You just don't get the OG badge or the 6-month reward. Same platform, different cohort.
- Why limit it to 5,000?
- Scarcity is the point. 5,000 people who showed up early, made the platform work, and shared in its success — that's a real cohort with real meaning. Open the badge to everyone and the badge means nothing.
